For years Complete Foods has offered tools to the DIY community to create and share recipes with complete nutrition information. My recipes are among the top ones listed. I'm keeping the details updated here, not all will be on the CF site.
My niche in the community has been to offer recipes with very low cost by buying in bulk, convenience through mixing in large quantities, and research/analysis.

In 2014 my family used official Soylent (now Complete Foods) versions 1.1 through 1.4 for about 5 months for about 2 meals a day. After a couple months I began to experiment with my own recipes, because I knew I could do it for much cheaper than commercial meal replacement products prices. I'm an incurable do-it-yourself guy and as a scientist I love researching and solving problems. I come from a large family and grew up with my mom buying in bulk to keep costs down. In Feb 2015 I finished a rice protein recipe that matched the official product's nutrition that was a hit with the family, who said it tasted better than the official product (v1.4).
I now rotate between my recipes.
I find that weight loss/maintenance is a lot easier with soylent for two meals a day rather than eating traditional breakfast and lunch. It is very satisfying physically, and you know you're getting complete nutrition. You won't be hungry and probably won't overeat if you're getting most of your calories from these recipes, but there's a lot more to overeating than real hunger..you still have to resist the urge to snack on junk food which is created to get us to eat beyond being full. I try to eat fruits and vegetables for snacks (yes that's counter-intuitive because this is meal replacement, but you'll find you want something to chew once in a while and these become treats).
