Soylent is a meal replacement drink that is nutritious and quick to make.
The word comes from a 1970s movie "Soylent Green", taken from the words "soy" and "lentil".
The term "soylent" resurfaced in current culture in 2014 by Rob Rinehart when he crowd-funded his first meal replacement. It became the Soylent Nutrition company, now Complete Foods, which also hosted a site for users to create and share their own recipes and evaluate nutrition. The site is poorly maintained and often recipes can't be created or be edited fully.
